On November 1, Ms. Wang Shu of the Department of European Languages, the School of Foreign Languages gave a School-level demo lesson titled “Second Language (Germany) (I) in Room 421 of Sanshan Building. The faculty of the Department of European Languages and some faculty members of the Japanese Department and College English Teaching Department (I) and (II) listened to the lecture.
During her lecture, Ms. Wang Shu made a skillful use of the multimedia device to expound the occupational lexicon related to “night-shift worker” and the interview with Nachtdienst in the text. She devised the group exercises on the “second position of a German verb”. In the process of listening comprehension, she enthused the students to participate in the discussion and retelling step by step.
The demo lesson features vivid explanation by the lecturer, a lively atmosphere and full participation of the students. The teaching plan was fully executed.
